Statue Of Unity Ticket
You can buy SOU tickets either online or offline. In case you are planning to visit during long holiday or weekends, its better to buy the tickets online.
Ticket price varies with the number of attractions covered by ticket, cheapest being the one that gives you access to the SOU costing Rs.150.
If you want to visit the viewing gallery that is at the chest level of the statue, you will have to shell out around Rs.180/- more.
You can also add Jungle safari, boar ride, Glow park etc at additionl cost.
Best is to download SOU mobile app, it will make it very easy to navigate the huge campus.
Note: AC bus service from the Ekta Nagar station till the Sardar Sarovar dam is free service, it runs every 5min from morning to late night.
Where is Statue Of Unity?
Statue of Unity (SOU) is located in the Indian state of Gujrat at Kevadia. Kevadia was already famous as Sardar Sarovar Dam is located here but ever since Statue Of Unity came up, it became a tourist attraction.
How to reach Statue Of Unity?
You can arrive at Statue Of Unity by Air, Railways or road. I myself have travelled from Ahmedabad to Ekta nagar and returned in one day after exploring SOU.

Statue Of Unity nearest railway station
The station nearest to SOU is Ekta Nagar railway station. The station is very neat and clean and it has:
- Two platforms
- Waiting rooms (AC, NonAC and Female)
- Retiring rooms are on 1st floor- 6 AC rooms
- Food stall- It sells snacks as well as meals at reasonable rates.
- McD is around 1km from the railway station, near petrol pump.
Conclusion:
Statue of Unity should be on everyone’s “must visit” list. You can easily cover most of it in one day but if you stay over night, you can enjoy more.
